“Fix Mama’s Mouth”

            Jonathan Wilde and Steve ‘Mudflap’ McGrew of 92.5 The Wolf created a contest to honor the mothers of their listeners.  “Fix Mama’s Mouth” started as a way for one deserving woman to receive up to $15,000 worth of dental treatment for free donated by Standley Shores Dental Group.  Over the period of a month the contest took on a life of its own as Wolf listeners began submitting an overwhelming number of photos and stories explaining why their mama deserves a new smile.  Family members described how the hard times have made money tight and their selfless mothers put everyone else’s needs before their own.  The stories were so heartfelt and emotional that they tugged at the heartstrings of the doctors who decided that four women, instead of just one, will have their dream smile.  Dr. Skip Jeranko and Dr. Jeff Stang of Standley Shores Dental Group  donated $55,000 worth of free dental treatment to these four mothers.
