STANLEY L. JERANKO, D.D.S.

Dr. Jeranko founded Standley Shores Dental Group on the belief that people want quality, gentle dental work delivered at a good value, and to be treated with compassion and an understanding for what the patient's desires are. " We feel that our office gives patients the perfect combination of years of experience, and the latest in technology and training. All done in an environment that helps the patient relax and feel comfortable."

Dr. Jeranko received his dental degree from the University of Colorado School of Dentistry and continues to expand his knowledge and training with many hours of continuing education every year. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the Colorado Dental Association, the Metropolitan Denver Dental Society, the Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, and the Colorado Prosthodontic Society. He recently completed advanced studies with the Dawson Academy in treating bite problems and treating severely worn teeth.

He has helped many people restore their teeth back to health with long lasting treatments in implant restorations, crowns, bridges, veneers, all types of fillings, and denture fabrication. You can feel comfortable knowing that Dr. Jeranko has the experience and training to help you come up with solutions for your dental needs.

As an active volunteer in his community, Dr. Jeranko has donated his time to several charitable causes, including the 9 News Health Fair, and KIND ( Kids in Need of Dentistry). He was once again named in 5280 Magazines "Top Dentists List" for 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2013. In 2008 he accepted recognition from Westminster Mayor Nancy Heil for Standley Shores Dental Group's 25th year of service to the city!

JEFFREY A. STANG, D.D.S, F.A.A.H.D.

Dr. Stang is a 1987 graduate of The Ohio State University College of Dentistry. Prior to dental school, he graduated Summa Cum Laude from Ohio University with a degree in Zoology/Pre-Dentistry. After Dental school, he was accepted into and completed additional training in the General Practice Residency program at Saint Joseph Hospital and The Children's Hospital in Denver, Colorado. Dr Stang joined Standley Shores Dental Group in 1988.

Dr. Stang provides cosmetic, surgical, restorative and implant dental care for patients of all ages, including the handicapped population. Dr. Stang believes strongly in patient education and the importance of spending time with his patients. He has always put a special emphasis on the comfort of all of his patients, particularly the very fearful patient. He is certified, and has provided sedation dentistry for his patients since 1988. His focus, throughout his career, on continuing education has allowed him to maintain a focus on the most up to date dental procedures.

Dr. Stang has achieved Fellowship status in The American Academy of Hospital Dentists. He is an active member of the American Academy of Implant Dentists, American Dental Society of Anesthesiology, Academy of Dentistry for the Handicapped, The American Dental Association, Colorado Dental Association and The Metropolitan Denver Dental Society. He named in 5280 Magazines "Top Dentists List" for 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2013. 

In his spare time, he enjoys the outdoors through camping , fly fishing, mountain biking and lots of soccer with the kids.

ANTHONY LERE, D.D.S.

Dr. Tony Lere grew up in Greeley, Colorado and completed a degree in Biology from the University of Colorado, making the Dean’s list. He went on to attend The University of Colorado’s School of Medicine to earn his Doctorate of Dental Surgery. Upon graduation, he completed a post doctoral residency program at the Veteran’s Administration Hospital in San Antonio, TX. While there, he was trained in dental implant placement and restoration, IV and oral sedation and complex restorative techniques including smile makeovers and full mouth reconstructions. Dr. Lere practiced in San Antonio and Austin for several years prior to moving back to Colorado. During that time, he has pursued many hours of continuing education to stay up on the latest techniques and treatments.

Dr. Lere’s approach to dentistry is one of education and trust. He feels it is vital to explain treatment prior to providing it. He will explain all the findings as well as provide you with a number of options. He will listen to you and try to make your experience as comfortable as possible. If there is anything that he can do to make your visit more comfortable please let him know. He is able to provide you with numerous sedation options for your appointments. Dr Lere’s primary goal is to inform his patients of issues as soon as they are detectable so the treatment is usually less time-consuming and less costly.

Dr. Lere enjoys his profession because he is able to make a lasting difference in someone’s life, self-confidence and their picture-prefect smile! He is a member of the American Dental Association, the Colorado Dental Association and the Metropolitan Denver Dental Society. He has donated time to 9news health fairs. He was once again named in 5280 Magazines "Top Dentists List" for 2013.  He enjoys hiking, road biking, cross training and spending time with his wife, Kristin. 

 HADLEY K. THURMON, D.D.S

Standley Shores Dental Group is excited and honored to welcome Dr Hadley Thurmon to our practice.  She brings the recognition as a 5280 Top Dentist and a wealth of experience and training that blends perfectly with the high standards we set at our practice.

Dr Thurmon received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Michigan in 1996.  She continued her education at the University Of Michigan School Of Dentistry, graduating in 2000 with her Doctorate in Dental Surgery and earning the award for Excellence and Promise in Oral Diagnosis.

Upon graduation, Dr Thurmon continued her education at the University of Colorado Health Science Center, completing the General Practice Residency program. There, she received advanced training in dental emergencies, the management of cancer and organ transplant patients, pediatrics, oral surgery, sedation, periodontics and implant dentistry.  She has completed advanced dental implant training through the 3i Dental Implant Synergy training program.

Giving back to the community is important to Dr Thurmon.   She participates in many local charities, including Give Kids a Smile Day, Delta Dental’s Smile event and the Colorado Mission of Mercy which provides free dental care to people in need. She was once again named in 5280 Magazines "Top Dentists List" 2012 and 2013. 

Dr Thurmon enjoys dentistry because she is able to help others improve their health and often times their confidence in their smile as well.  Dr Thurmon says the combination of science, art and patient interaction is why dentistry is the right profession for her.

In her spare time, Dr Thurmon enjoys ski racing, tennis, and soccer, mountain biking, traveling, cooking and reading.   She is excitedly married to Tony and has a “baby” named Fenway, their Chocolate Lab from the Rocky Mountain Lab Rescue.
